One year ago this weekend, violent clashes filled the streets of Charlottesville, Virginia, as white supremacists descended on the small city for a rally they called "Unite the Right." At the center of the struggle, ostensibly, was a monument to Robert E. Lee. This collection includes pieces from the past year that reflect on the ways that the events of August 11th & 12th, 2017 resonate with the long history of racism in America.
